I hold a Level 4 Diploma in Holistic Massage, Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology from the renowned Bristol College of Massage and Body Work. I have built on my qualifications and taken specialist courses in deep tissue massage and remedial.
Having spent the last fifteen years in the arts, I decided that it was time for a career change. A change of circumstances meant I could finally fulfil my goal of becoming a professional massage therapist. Complementary therapy has always fascinated me and more specifically holistic massage. The thought that I can help people through touch, whether relieving pain or easing anxiety, is a huge privilege. I also have an interest in mental health and wellbeing, working for organisations such as Frontiers, a children’s support unit in Devon and Julian House, a homeless charity in Bath and Bristol.
My creative and client centred approach means that a treatment is specifically developed together, tailoring a treatment, which is suited to your individual needs and requirements.
I regularly attend on-going courses to discover, expand and improve techniques and knowledge, alongside additional supervision classes. This forms part of my Continual Professional Development (CPD). I also hold a Level 3 First Aid certificate, Mental Health First Aid and a certificate in Solution Focussed Therapy.
